Getting my hand tattooed by Jack Rudy in Tuscon Az. after a tattoo convention in '96. One of my favorite tattoos I have,still looks great.

I took the photo's some time in the mid to late 90's when I bought a machine from him.

Japan, was thinking of some friends there this week.

Caves in Enoshima,where the Samurai hid out in the 1600's, there's a cemetery in there too.

2nd biggest Buddah in Japan, near Enoshima. Made from individual cast panels.

Another national treasure of Japan, the beer vending machine.

Gus, aka Gusto Higo. The best machine builder in the world!

The economy is already bad in Japan and now there are rolling blackouts through out the country, needless to say he's not doing a lot of tattooing right now.

Bought this one from Mike Malone at a Philly convention in '99 or 2000.

In Oakland in '02 I got him to sign my copy of "Bulls-Eyes & Black Eyes", which has this painting in it.

Never really new the man but, really enjoyed the few times I got to speak with him. I admire his take on tattooing and his work.
